Horizon Health is seeking a Full Time Medical Records Clerk. The Medical Records Clerk manages the internal/external faxes for the organization, handles all incoming and outgoing medical records, works to review the dictation as directed by providers, and serves as the process owner of the sending and receiving of x-ray images and reports for the organization to ensure accurate medical record for the patient. A wide range of duties including, cross-over duties with Health Information Technology support staff. Remote work may be considered for candidates residing within the state of South Dakota. Key responsibilities include managing the internal/external faxes for the organization, reviewing, editing, formatting and appropriately placing dictation into EHR as directed for providers, and scanning documents into EMR system.
